Malaysia has a variety of foods, and 'roti canai' is one of them. Pronounced as 'Roh-Tee Cah-Nai', if directly translated, it means 'flat bread'. Roti canai can be found at almost anywhere in Malaysia. It has a variety of flavours, from a plain one, to having sardines or cheese in it. :D
You can also dip it with anything like dahl ( A kind of orangey curry. Very nice. :)), condensed milk or sambal ( Spicy gravy. XP)! But not tomato ketch
up. Never, EVER try roti canai with tomato ketchup. -___-
It is concidered one of my fave foods 'round here, other than rice~!
Roti Canai with dahl gravy and sambal~! Yum, yum! :D :D :D
This is what we Malaysians call 'Karipap' (Pronounced 'Kah-Ree-Pahp') It's translated as 'curry puff' and it is a smaller version of the Cornish Pastry. :D Like Roti Canai, curry puffs has lots of fillings, such as potatoes and meat, such as the pic above, or sardines! I like sardine curry puffs better! :D :D :D
OK, that's enough from me. Will be back with some more interesting foods~!!! :D :D :D
