Comics, Why They Are Good For the World~!!!

Earlier in the year end hols, my mom, who was driving, in some random moment, turned to me and said: ‘Why do you like to read comics? It’s not good at all.’ I, an avid comic fan (And an overemotional brat), felt very much offended. So much so that my mom noticed my devastated face, tried to soothe me. The conversation went pretty much like below:

MOM: Don’t take it personally. I don’t read comics, so I don’t really know.

ME: Yeah, well, you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. YOU taught me that.

MOM: That’s why I’m asking you. What’s so good about it?

ME: Uh… (At this moment, I knew my reasons, but I couldn’t explain it in the language my mom, as well as most adults speaks.)

MOM: So, you should take this as your yearend assignment. Give me ten reasons why comics are advantageous to youth nowadays.

Fast forward a couple of weeks, and here we are now, with me giving you information you could use to counter your parents’ ramblings about comics being some kind of disease towards mankind.

Reasons to Love Comics:

  1. 1) Comics have the same elements as what a novel would have. That includes character development, setting, plot, theme, point of view, conflicts, climax and so on. Get what I’m saying?
  2. 2) It also has built–in clues to help readers understand the story better. Since comics are visual, even if the dialogues are hard to understand, there are diagrams supporting the comprehension of the tale.
  3. 3) Comics have a wider age-range than other reading devices. There are more comics that entertain young and old alike than books.
  4. 4) Comics amuse people visually, especially kids. Why, you ask? It’s simple: CHILDREN LOVE PICTURES. :D
  5. 5) Most adults want their kids to be reading books. If your child does not even have the slightest interest in books, one advises you to let them read comics. It is proven that comics attract youth to reading. Think of comics as a stepping stone. Your kids will be begging you to buy books.
  6. 6) Comics also influence children to be more creative and artistic.
  7. 7) Plus, if used right, comics can be used as an effective education device! From experience, it is proven that what you learn can be memorized easier and stay in your head longer if lessons aren’t so boring. By reading educational comics, which is an interesting way to convey messages to kids, it would stay in their minds for a very, VERY long time (Or until they need the info for an exam).
  8. 8) Not only that, comics also have a wider range of selection! Yeah, most parents would be shocked ‘bout that, but it’s true. Every month, there are lots of new comic materials out in store. It’s certainly way faster than the release of new books. Take that.
  9. 9) Did you know that comics need a different reading strategy than novels? Since comics are just dialogues and illustration, readers need to rely on both and conclude what is not written. Simply put, it gives us a chance to find out extra info.
  10. 10) People need variety. In a reading diet, one cannot possibly live purely on words. Explore the imaginary world the comics offer.
  11. 11) Most of all, comics are FUN! Reading does not have to be so dull, right? :D

Oh, I gave one extra tidbit, didn’t I? Oh well, it strengthens my claims that comics really are good. :D Just wait ‘til my mom sees this~! :D :D :D

Just don’t get too addicted to it. :) It might mess up your life (Not to mention your book rack.)

Rachel Crow and the Disney Dilemma

Have you people heard of Rachel Crow? She was in X Factor USA (Wait, have you actually heard of X Factor USA?) Well, she's 13 and she has an awesome voice. :)
And she got kicked out of the show.
It pretty much caused a ruckus last week, when America (And other like me who couldn't watch it live) saw her breaking down onstage after the results came out. And so did Nicole whatshername (Sorry, I could never spell her name right.), because she was the cause of Rachel's downfall. Then it turns out it was actually Paula Abdul's fault. It's so complex. :D
The girl with awesome voice, Ms. Rachel Crow~

Oh well, back to topic. Rumours were spreading 'round that Disney, upon hearing of Crow's elimination, snatched the chance of getting her into the Disney bandwagon. If she accepts, then she'll be up there with the alumnis, (Like Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato) guiding her, probably.

But there's the problem. You guys heard of the controversies these Disney stars have, right? Miley Cyrus's problems with wanting to show her maturity in the most disgusting way ever, and dont get me started on Lindsay Lohan's prob. I'm not saying Disney's to blame for this, but by now Disney has a bad reputation of turning sweet lil boys and girls into people who have no shame. I just don't wanna this girl to become like them too.

Well, if she takes the offer, I'm happy for her. Just as long as she doesn't turn into celebrity whores. :)

Rising Sun's Language Moment of Truth~

Hi guys, sorry for the late update. :) I was a tad busy. So... Last week, I had to do something that no other students would dare to do at this time of the year. Going back to SCHOOL. *Insert gasp* WHY IS THAT, I hear you ask (If you didn't, then I'll imagine it.) I had to revise for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test. It's basically a three-paper exam. Don't ask whether I passed or failed.

Well, from Thursday 'til Sunday, we had classes to make sure we remember the basics. Well, awkward thing is, I couldn't remember half of it. That's because I NEVER LEARNED IT. D: Hahaha~ During the day, we learn. During the night, we play 'round! We've been watching Thai horror movies, such as Shutter and Phobia 2, plus NangNak and Grave Encounters. :D And when the scary piles finished, we turned to Korean reality shows, Running Man! :D

The nationwide exam was held at the Confusian Private School in KL. Mine was, unfortunately for my cheaterfriends, held in a gigantic hall. This year's exam was pretty much harder than the last, as even the ones who had taken it before felt it was torture. As for me, a first timer, I couldn't care less. My achievement has been succeeded; to get experience to further ready myself for the next time. :)
For those who have been thinking all these time why I hadn't updated this a few days back, it was because of this:

I had this idea during the time spent at school last week, and was hell bent on finishing it. Enjoy~! :D :D :D

A 'Class' Trip to KL. :)

Kuala Lumpur. That's where me and my class went on Thursday. Well, 'class' in this case is defined as being a group of seven teenagers. Practically 1/6 of the whole class. And to think, it was discussed for TWO WEEKS.

Well, as you know (Or not.), Kuala Lumpur is the capital of West Malaysia. It is the home of the

Petronas Twin Tower. :) If you knew that know, congrats, you just learnt something new. :D The rest, you will have to Google it. Or better yet, just click here. (It leads you to the best essay website.)
Things That Tourists (Or People Wanting to Go There) Needs to Know:
- The bridge connecting the two towers (Found at Level 41 and 42) is under renovation until some time in December. So, if you want to go there this month, don't bother.
- Go to Aquaria, if you are a fan of fishy lil things (Plus bugs, snakes and gigantic sharks.) A two
floor wonder, this place will guarantee lotsa fun for the whole family! (If you bring your family. If not, then with whoever you're with.)
- If you are a local, bring your IC to get entrance discount! :)
- If you don't like aquatic creatures, but love to swim in the water, bring your swimming suits, coz there's a public pool just a few meters away from Aquaria~! :D
- You are not allowed to take pictures in the KLCC Suria shopping mall. Don't ask me why, I dunno either. ._____.
- If you're planning to take a train to and from KL, do not take it during the rush hour. Unless you want to experience the life of sardines in a tin. Suggestion: Go at 2, leave at 8. :D

I'd talk 'bout my experience with my friends in KL, but then I thought, 'Nah, I won't post it, coz it's too special for everyone to see for now.' If you really wanna know, it was fun, and funny, and crazy. Best time of my year~ Especially on the train back home. XD Read the others' point of view, coz you won't get mine~! :D (Such as here, there, and maybe this one.)

A message to the rest of the class. :D

Anyhoos, this trip has inspired me to make a comic strip, so here it is~!!! Enjoy! :D :D :D

Year End Hols~!

Finally, the time of year students all over Malaysia has been waiting for! HOLIDAY!!! Which obviously means fun, fun, and MORE FUN! (Seriously, in my dictionary, holiday means fun.) I'm sure many are enjoying their lives to the fullest, especially the lil ones. Of course, the Form 5ers still have SPM on their minds, and the Form 4 kids are worried 'bout next year. Since I've got a lot of free time on my hands now, I'll try to update more often, though that may not be since I'm lazy. :P So... That's it at the moment. I'm glad you wasted your time reading this. :)

Surgeries and a Week Off~!

Hiya, guys, missed me? Probably didn't, right? XD Sorry it took so long for me to update, but I was busy with the end- of year- exams and crappy nonsense. Plus, I had surgery. :) So, if you don't mind, I'm gonna be talking 'bout it, since someone I know requested for this awesome, once in a lifetime experience! :D

So, I had surgery on my left chest two days ago (Which was Tuesday.) And I, as usual, was freaking out, since it was a first. Even though it was just a minor surgery, I couldn't afford to calm myself down. Especially over the fact that it's being done when I'm KNOCKED OUT. O.O Goodness, who knows what they did to me. So, went in at 'round 8. Last thing I saw was the surgery room. Blink. Darkness. Open eyes. New place~! MAGIC. :D The people there were funny. Made fun of me, all of them. .____. Even my dad. That sucks. XD There was a drain attached to my body. At the end of it was a water bottle. To collect the bloody liquid in my chest.

Yesterday, we went to Bukit Tinggi (Tall Hill) Shopping mall to buy me a tight shirt (Because we needed to hold the plaster in place.) And people were like, what is that red liquid inside that water bottle? Seriously. And I was like, it's syrup. :P Stare all you wantlah, as long as it doesn't hurt me (And it doesn't disturb me while I'm playing drum game.)! With a smile on my face.

Like this. ----------> (:

So, I pretty much spent my whole day walking 'round and going against my inner self's screams to rest in bed. When I'm bored, since I can't cycle, I go annoy other people by SMS (You know who you are!) I'd like to take a moment to say thank you for putting up with my texts and shenanigans, guys. :)

Today, I saw my chest for the first time since the surgery. Freaky. It's DENTED. Like a crater. Turns out the fat was pushing the muscle. So now have to wait for the muscle to grow. XP Plus, I found out that my doctor took out TOO MUCH FAT. O.O Doesn't she know how long I had to suffer to collect that much? Now she goes and take too much! Aiyoo... XD

In the end, I had to use the drain thingy for a longer time! XP So, who do you think's gonna be shining like Gaga at my cuz's wedding tomorrow?

(Answer: Me.)

So this is me, signing out. :D

P.S: If you happen to see a guy wearing a dark blue, long sleeved swimming shirt, with a long bloody tube from his torso going to a bloody water bottle on his trousers, don't hesitate to come
up and say hello. :) :) :) Will add photo to help you guys. Right now, my lil helper is sleeping. ;)

Update: Taken yesterday night. Lil bro, being the awful paparazzi he is, failed to take a clearer shot. :) This'll have to do for now.

Exam Time!

You have two more weeks left until your major exam, a gigantic pile of revision books left untouched since the last exam, waiting to be read, and your mother breathing at your neck, nagging at you to study. No problem, you say to her. Just after you completed Level 21 in the brand new computer game you bought the other day.

Time flies very fast, and eleven days later, you're panicking, reading through hundreds of text books like crazy, cursing at the game for making Level 21 too hard and for wasting your time. How are you supposed to cover every single subjects in three days? You start to calculate:
- There are 9 to 10 subjects
- In each subject, there's 'bout seven to ten chapters
- Your major exam covers everything for the past three years
- So, the minimal number of number of subjects would be:
9x7x3= 189 chapters to revise

You suddenly wake up in the middle of the room three hours later after you fainted, wasting potential study time.

Now, you're sitting in the exam room, cursing silently at the seating arrangement; the ones surrounding you are dimwits. The death sentence in the form of exam papers arrive. The timer is set. An hour and a half left. You pass through the first few questions with relative ease. Then the godawful hard question pounces at you. It was from the chapters you didn't have time to revise in detail. You try to pick at your brain for answers, but nothing would come. You try to read people's mind, and send SOS signals to their brains, but it fails. You try your supervision to take a look at their answer sheets, but is blocked by the teachers. You decided to just 'tembak' at the question. The same scenario happens at most of the questions that came after that. And probably 4 of the exams you encounter during exam week.

When exam week ends, you snuggle up in you duvet, making a mental note to leave Level 21 aside next time exam's nearing.

Good luck to all PMR students! :D I've been through the dreaded moment last year, so I know how it feels. So, I don't have to say how easy it is, 'cos you guys won't believe me. I'll let you lear the hard way. Relax~! :D

DopplePeoples Taking Over Life?

I'm caught by an overflowing river of homeworks and assignment. So sorry for not updating for quite a while. :) Just finished a book called 'The Other Alice'. In one day. Hooray for me. :D My first impression of the book and the actual plot were two different things. Very. This should teach me not to judge titles. .____.

So there I was, thinking 'bout dopplegangers, or dopplepeople (My word. :D) Wouldn't it be so cool to have one? You'd finish everything in half the time you'd finish it on your own. I need one. In fact, anyony with common sense - or a busy job - would wanna own one.

But then I read the blurb, which talked 'bout Other Alice taking over Alice's life. And then I got scared. What if my DopplePerson tried to take over my life? First they'll warm up to my friends and family. Then they'd do everything I did.

And then they'll drug my loved ones with memory- erasing pills to make sure I'm erased from their memory. Then DoppeleMe would erase me forever. O.O

Ooh, how I love my imagination. They aren't real? :D
Or are they...?
Oh, well this is it for now. Sorry if it's all crap.
But it's what I'm going through right now.
And limited topics in school to talk 'bout.
Plus,
it
is
RANDOM. :D

Have a nice day.

9/11

September 11th used to be just a normal day in our lives. People would just go through the day doing what they'd do routinely. All that changed in the year 2011. Dark memories and recurring nightmares of that fateful day haunts lives. Does the fear that scarred our hearts still live on now? Now, I know most people can still remember the events that occurred on that day, some even trying to erase it from their minds. For those of you who doesn't know anything 'bout it (Probably because you're under ten. But hey, if you are, I'm hapy a kid visits my blog. :)), I'd give a quick recap, but I don't really remember. The main thing was the World Trade Center destroyed after two hijacked planes crashed into, killing innocent lives.

Some people theorized that a Muslim extremist, Osama bin Laden was the mastermind behind it all. Last I heard of him was 'round May. He was killed and thrown into the sea. Others, however, doesn't buy this story and says he doesn't exist. Instead, they say it was all a plot created by the former President Bush.

 I don't really care.
All I know is that many families lost a dear somebody in their lives, and I'm sure some still can't overcome their grief. My heart goes out to them.

The 9/11 incident affects the world in many ways. Hatred is planted, paranoia instilled in people's hearts. Friendship were broken, trust destroyed. Even after 9/11, many lives were lost as people did the unthinkable. Now, after 10 years, the police are wary of the threats they get, searching for bombs that might not exist.

But it taught us a very important lesson in life. We have to unite to prevent events like this from happening. The 9/11 incident has come and go, and we can never change the past.

But we can try to change the future, and make the world a better place.

Now, let's have one minute of silence to remember the dead.

The Spirit of Eid

This month, Eid ,or Raya, is being celebrated 'round the world after a month of fasting, including Malaysia. It is a festive season, one which is celebrated by going to visit open houses, and having fun with your family and friends.

Kids, however, have more than just fun in their heads. Yes, for the time being, their thought are filled with MONEY. They go 'round people's home and rob them of their money collect Raya money given by the adults. This is the moment where the children tune into their loan shark spirit, their eyes burning with determination to collect the most among them. How greedy-minded are they? This is a true conversation:

Dad: Do you want to go visit my friend's open house?
Baby bro: Is he rich?

Yesh, this happened a few days ago. O.O *Dundundun* I wouldn't be surprised if I see kids running 'round with a list of open houses to visit. They're like, collecting debts from grownups or something. XD

But Eid is a time to forgive. There are people who wants to be forgiven, but lost the chance forever. There are people who, most of the time, finds it hard to forgive others, because of the seriousness of the culprit's offense. Just ease the burden for all of us by forgiving them who have wronged you. :) Have a happy Eid.

Celebrating Independence Day

What day is it today? Wednesday!!! :D Haha, totally outta topic. Well, today is a historic day for Malaysians, for today marks the 54th anniversary of independence. On this day, 31st August 1957, Tunku Abdul Rahman declared freedom from the grip of the British Empire. Hooray! :D

But now, 54 years fast forward, do you young people even know about this awesome feat, let alone appreciate it? How do you guys celebrate it? By clubbing? Partying all night? WRONG. You guys should totally celebrate it with your head held up high and going have a trip 'round historical sites! Feel the patriotic spirit in you! You guys don't have to do stoopeed stuff that might hurt the country's reputation. :)

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to hang a flag up. :D

In an Empty School

So, there's only a few days left before Eid is celebrated all 'round the world, and students rejoicing as the hols start. Students like me. But unlike others, I get to experience what it feels like to wait for your parents in a boarding school, all alone. :)

It's true what my friends say, being in the school grounds with only the birds chirping, the trees swaying and some unknown species screeching is quite relaxing. You don't have to worry 'bout other people ruining your eardrums as they shout incoherent things. The students were so eager to get home. It took like, an hour for the place to go from hazardously loud to deadly silent. :D

But within all that calm and peacefulness, there's a sense of loneliness in my heart. Wandering 'round the empty school and dorms aches my heart. So I feel painful yet exhilarating. XD And I felt bored, even though there was a pile of comics next to me, and so many things that can be done. Like vandalizing, or rummaging through other people's stuff, but I don't do that. It's not nice. :) In the end, there was only the kitten I was entrusted to take care of this hols to keep me company. Though it was of no help at all. It slept all the while. ._________.

The kitten. So cute~ :D

I'm gonna end this by saying have a happy Eid and hols to everyone! Make sure you come back in one piece. ;)

Cheating Exams

Hi there, people. How's life? Mine feels great (For the moment, at least.)! Exam week's over, and I got some of my papers back. I've improved! I feel so mushy inside! :D I earned it fair and square.
Unlike some people. They earned it unfair and irregular shape. .______.

During the exam week, I've seen friends using their means of cheating to get good grades. Come on, guys! Would you be proud of yourselves if you get A+ by using reference books? Some whispered to each other, others threw paper balls around to convey their message. Heck, they even had books on their laps! D: (In case you were wondering how the teacher was surprisingly blind enough to not see the obvious... We have frilly clothes covering the table. O.O Purple and frilly. *Dundundun*)

Some, though, got caught redhanded. And in a silly way. And then he was humiliated. The reason why?
The headteacher announced it in front of everyone.
Last Thursday, during assembly, he told the entire student body that he had confiscated a Form 5's mobile. (Yesh, rules state that mobile phones are forbidden, but the students nor the teachers care. :)) The shocking thing was there were text messages sent during the exam! And the head teacher, being such a kind soul, read the SMSes out loud for all the curious little people to hear. :D

The best part is, the texts were sent to a handful of people. Lucky teacher. With one single cellphone, he was able to find people who brought their phones AND cheated in their exams. Talk 'bout kill lotsa birds with one stone! XD

We've learnt a valuable lesson, didn't we kids? And for those who don't have a clue what the golden rule is:

IF YOU CHEAT, MAKE SURE TO GET RID OF
ALL THE EVIDENCE.

LOL. Just kidding. The real lesson is to never cheat. You'll never be proud with the result you get. Plus, you'll be in deep trouble and humility if you ever get caught. And the chances of that happening are very, VERY high. :D

Have a nice day. :)

Writing a Poem is Hard

Yesh, it's true. I tried my hardest to write one, but it either sounds corny, crappy, silly, or just plain nonsense. Finally did one without actually scrunching it up and throwing it in the bin furiously. It's a message, for a friend, and I hope she gets what I'm trying to say. It's pretty obvious. :D But half of me wants to show it to her, half of me doesn't. Sigh... What to do? Decided to show it after all.

You can find it here. <------- Yesh, there. :)

Now I'm gonna protect myself from all the laughter/lecture from her, saying it's sounds corny/crappy/silly/just plain nonsense. Read it before I change my mind and destroy the thing. :D

The End of Harry Potter

So, the moment has arrived. After so many years of following the Boy Who Lived in his magical adventures, it has finally ended with Voldemort's death, and fast forward 19 years, Harry Potter seeing his son on board the train to Hogwarts. 'Tis a very sad day for HP fans when the final book came out, as it meant the end is nigh for the series, and all that's left to do is to nervously wait for the movie. But fret not, my little ones, for he will live on in your hearts, and there are more regarding HP for you dearies to feast upon. *Insert witch's cackle* Soon you will all be fattened up by Pottermore~!!! >:D I should stop now.

Even though Harry Potter has been a part of my life, I couldn't really say I'm a big fan. After all, the only HP book I've read Deathly Hallows. The others, I followed via movies. But after watching the two final movies and comparing it with the actual book, I think it's sparked my curiosity of the books. I felt that the movies hadn't covered enough of the book, even though it was divided into two parts.
Don't ask me why. I felt it, I dunno the reason.
I'll try to add reading the books into my to do list. Let's see when I'll get round to it. Probably within the next decade or so. But for now, I just wanna say, move on people. It's finished. You all know he'll live on in our bittersweet memories. :)

Of Train Rides and Malaysians

How's you? :) Two days ago, I had to take a train to go back home from school.
Yes, my school is that far away. Like, a state away. .___.
It was pretty much an exciting experience for both me and my friend, since it was a first for us. Even though the journey took 3 hours and 15 minutes to get home, I couldn't really sleep. There were a couple of stuffs I didn't really want to remember, though.
My train rides starts at Sg. Gadut (At the bottom), across the blue line until KL Central, then goes to the left, on the red line to Shah Alam. :)

I should tell you, that my ride's divided into two parts: Sungai Gadut - KL Central, and KL Central - Shah Alam. So, for the second half of my train ride, I had to stand and be squashed by other people, since I was too slow in grabbing a seat. So for the next 45 minutes, I had to endure excruciating pain on my shoulders and back, as a result of carrying my heavy school bag. T_____T Woe is me...
Okay, maybe I did get to sit, but it was a stop away from the destination, so it really didn't count. D:

But I didn't really care 'bout my physical pain. Not when my patriotic spirit is wounded. Why, I hear you ask.
Well, my answer is I'm ashamed of the community.
Even though Malaysia is proud of its diversity, unity, and culture, what good does it do if the reputation is slowly fading away due to the lack of politeness in Malaysians? This I realised at the KL Central Station. It's buzzing with people, a usual sight on Fridays. And the coach I was on was packed like a tin of sardines. What shocked me that some people outside were willing to force themselves in, at the cost of the others' comfort.
We were already packed like sardines, why try and force another one in? ._.
And so begins the verbal fight between sides. What I'm ashamed of is that they're not ashamed to show their disgusting attitude to other people who just wants peace and quiet, me included. And what are these actions gonna tell the foreigners?
Many, many things. But all of them negative.

The Grass is Greener at The Other Side

I am so, SO sorry for not updating for a very, VERY long time! D: Busy lil me. Orchestra finals, japanese festivals, studies... all these things can tire out a guy like moi. :) Well, you guys might have heard the saying, 'the grass is greener at the other side', right? I'm starting to feel that saying revolving 'round my life. For example, when I know my teachers are coming into class, I wish for them not to. But when they're not around, and there are subs everywhere, I get really tired of resting and lazing about, and BAM! I want my teachers to teach!!! I'll talk more 'bout this later. I wanna catch up on my beauty sleep. Comi, signing out. :D :D :D

One More Day Of Freedom

Sigh... It's nearly time to go back to school. After more than 2 weeks, I can finally declare tomorrow the last day of the half year school holiday, or HYSH for short... With a heavy heart. I still don't feel satisfied with the period of time the adults give us, though. D: So much to do, so little time! What can I do?

Oh well, all I can do now is to reminisce the past two weeks.

So, what did I do? Went out with friends, had a party with friends, made something for a friend. Going out with family, went to IOI Resort with family... So, it's basically going out. XD But there's still a lot more I wanna do. There's a whole lot of stuff on a kid's list, and I'm sure you guys agree. :) But fate won't let me have my ways. Better start counting the days till the start of the next holiday... Which is in August. T______T

Boring Holiday...

I will update... Just feeling a tad sad, that's all. Another 13 weeks to go before the 2nd half of Doctor Who Series 6 starts!!! D: Gimme cliffhangers some more!

Hi, if you happen to see this blog change many times, without reason, that's probably me trying to find a suitable skin thingy. Change is needed. Dunno why. I like change. Sometimes. Don't you? :)

Single Father Experience~ D:

People, hello~! :D Since Father's Day is 'round the corner (Actually, a lot of corners. It falls on June 19th! Or so I heard. :)), let me share an advice to you guys and girls who are still young and wanna be parents, or don't really appreciate your parents that much:

LOVE YOUR PARENTS
and
PARENTING NEEDS PATIENCE

You might think that this is crap, hearing from an innocent teenage boy. Let me tell you something: I really know how it feels to be a father. :) NOW, BEFORE YOU PEOPLE GET IT THE WRONG WAY (Seriously, people who think like that needa wash their brains. XD), last weekmy friend and I had the privilege of taking care of seven 13-year-olds. In Sunway Pyramid.

Yeah, yeah, it might not be the best experience I can get, but hey, I felt it. It's very hard to control them. They ran all over the place! D: They can't stand still without fidgeting! I leave them for one second, they disappear... D: Kids these days. What can you do with them? And then I lost my mind with their voices in my head, their hands pulling me from one place to another. I snapped.

I screamed at them to go away.
NEVER EVER DO THAT, PEOPLE. I did that because of stress, but I can only blame myself.

One stayed with me. Another went with my friend. The rest wandered alone by themselves. And believe me, from after the incident 'til the time to regroup, their safety was bugging me. Heck, I couldn't even eat pizza calmly. Fortunately, they were fine. Phew.

A few things I learnt:
1) Being a single father is HARD. Taking care of them alone... It's tiring. D:
2) Never, EVER lose your temper at 'lil kids. God, I felt so guilty doing that to them. They might also look at you in a bad light. ):

3) Next time, take care of lesser kids. One is good enough for me. :)

4) Appreciate what your parents do. It's hard taking care of kids. It's VERY hard to take care of ME. :)

Being a single father is hard. Traumatizing for an innocent teenager like moi. XD But it felt very exciting, very... New. Shouting, screaming at kids, worrying 'bout them, chasing after them. Sigh... I feel so old. :D

Can't Live Without Rice

Hah, that's the cold, cold truth. I really can't live with rice. :/ Even though it makes me fat. God, it's so hard to get rid of it! D:

Let's face it. Malaysians love rice. You can never, EVER find a person who takes one look at rice and pukes. Or downright reject you when you offer them rice. Unless their on a diet (Like I am.). And maybe they're allergic to rice, or have phobia of rice. Or BOTH. O.O But I've yet to see people who turns down rice. :)
Yet, I wonder, if rice makes me this fat, why aren't the Japanese fat too?

Realizing the fact that chicken ain't nice without rice. Veggies tastes yucky without it too. Sigh... Will I ever defeat the desire to eat rice?

Final Week of Exam~!

Whee, finally, only one more week to go!!! God, I feel very suckish in the past week. I also realised quite a few things:

1) The students are not the only one bored of exams. I caught teachers falling asleep! Very different from my old school, where they watch you like a hawk. :D Some of them brought laptops and fans to use during their time watching over my class. Guess they don't really care much after all. :)

2) They reuse questions. Literally. Physics test was horrible. ): Even more so when you find out that they took last year's papers for this year's midterms, and you find out AFTER the exam! D: It only gets worse when you realised you seen a glimpse of the same paper BEFORE the exam! D: D: D:

My, aren't these unexpected? :D Well, I hope it won't be happening this week. Few more days till freedom and home!!! :D

Mother's Day~

Hello, people. How's you? :)
Well, as you readers know (Or not.), today is Mother's Day! Father's Day is also 'round the corner~! :D It's a sad one for me, though. :( Away from mommy and daddy, so it's not really special. Even so, there are others who have worse luck. But still, everyday should be mother's and father's day! You love 'em every single day, right? Why make up a day to appreciate your parents? :) :) :)
Read on the news yesterday, a story of a mother who gave her life to save her three kids. Few would risk their lives to save others. They'd save their necks first. D: A mother's love is truly priceless.

How many of you guys bothered to visit your mother? When was the last time you hugged her? A few minutes ago? A few days maybe? Weeks, years? Just think 'bout this; there are many people on this earth right now, burying their mothers, grieving for them, clinging on to their lifeless body, crying for them to come back, while some of you who still has dearest mommy in your lives don't care 'bout them. Let that stick in your mind. Nothing lasts forever. Be with your mom while you still have the chance. Anyway, happy Mother's Day~! :D

The Help Malaysia Get Doctor Who Campaign~!!!

Hi, guys! How are you? :) If you had read the post before already, you should know that Malaysia has no DW aired on any channels. It used to, but that was when I was at UK. When I came back, DW suddenly went 'poof'. So I'm sad. :(

But not defeated!!! :D I have decided to create a page to grant the wish that has been in the Malaysian DW fans' heart! Please help me, and press the 'like' button at the bottom of the 'Notices~ :)' Section! You support is very much appreciated! :D :D :D

Eating the TARDIS~! :D

It's over there! --------------------------------------------->

If I Had a Time Machine

As you all know (Or maybe not.), the second episode of the British sci-fi TV show, Doctor Who, is gonna be shown today. At United Kingdom. And the United States of America. And Australia. But NOT MALAYSIA. D: I kinda find it hard to believe. Anyhoos, I was wondering to myself, what would I do with a time machine? First thing on every Justin Bieber haters' mind would be:

Make sure Justin Bieber NEVER EXISTS.

That's pretty much on their minds, actually.
But not me. If I had a time machine, I would go into the past, and make myself known to people! I'd meet MJ, Princess Diana and lots of other people who are dead today! I'd create lots of mysterious events in the past, like that Roswell incident. I'd go on the Titanic before it sank. I'd find out why the Leaning Tower of Pisa leaned. Find out what's Stonehenge's true function is. Probably play a major part in WWII! XD

I would also go to the future, probably 'bout a few days after an exam. I'd take a look at the papers, and go back to the present and revise on the stuff! :D I'd go and look at tomorrow's lottery results too, but I don't play lottery. :) I'd go to December 2012, to see if the world really is ending. It probably won't, but it was worth a shot.

It'd be nice to go back to the years when me and my family were still living in the UK... Make things change, so we can still live there. But then again, I won't have the wonderful life I have now! :D I could make money from this by selling stuff from the future and past. There's so many things I wanna do with a time machine, if only they'd create it by now! D:

Well, most people would wanna change their future, right? But be careful, because you might end up as something worse. Lemme hear what you guys would wanna do if you had a time machine! :D

O.O But, please come back and check whether I've updated already. You never know when I get to use the Internet! :D :D :D

Wait... I've UPDATED MY BLOG ALREADY!!! XD

Should I Exist?

Recently, I have been down in the dumps, feeling guilty of leaving a meeting of friends, planned just to meet me before I go back to boarding school, way too early. I felt sad and paranoid, thinking that someone out there hates me. Since then, whenever I talk or do stuff with them, I feel more left out, ignored, feeling that I shouldn't not be there. I spent all my time, until now, with this one question stuck in my head:

Would it be better if I never existed?

I'm sure someone out there feels the same way too. So, think of it this way. Without me in this world, there would be less fights between my siblings, nor disturbances in the classes. There would be one less person to hate for my friends and teachers, because I usually create problems (Accidentally, of course. :)) Thinking about all of this, I was certain that I was only just a burden. That sucks, right?

But then, if I never existed, some of my friends would have never met each other. The place would be a lot less livelier, and I would have never inspired so many people. My brothers and sisters would never had an interest of drawing if I hadn't been there. Without me, the people whom I've helped before might not get any help. Even if they did, it'll be late.

And of course, there'll be one less people to love in this world. :D

With this playing on my mind, I smiled thinking that though I might be a burden, I also played a part in people's lives, and that without me, those happy moments might not have occurred. If you are feeling down just like I had, and have this same question in your head, think of what your friends and family would miss without you. Remember, God didn't create us to cause problems.

He gave us life to bring joy into this world. :)

Everybody Looks Cute When They Sleep

Sorry for not posting anything for these past few weeks~! I had and exam and band camp. D: So, please don't get angry at me. Blame the school. :D And if you are one of the people who thinks that they can predict when I'm gonna post on the blog... .__________. Well, you don't get the meaning of 'Anything, Anytime, Anywhere', do you?

So, back to topic. :) We all know that not everyone in this world is as pretty as Selena Gomez, or as handsome as Justin Bieber Alex Pettyfer. You guys agree? Yesh, yesh you do. :) But what I do know is that everybody looks so cute and innocent when they're in slumber! :D And I proof with me~!!! :D These picture were taken by yours truly at the band camp yesterday:
Aren't they the cutest things? :3

Malay and English: Manglish!

Manglish, one of the many special traits we Malaysians have~! :D It's sounds complicated, but it's just simply mixing the two languages together. Like, 'Nanti, we akan pergi sana together.', which means, we'll go there later. :D There are also made up words, basically translate directly from the Malay words.
'Together- gether' (Bersama- sama) or 'Where got?' (Mana ada?) are just a few examples that I know. It's stoopeed to do this kinda stuff, but it sounds cool~!!! :D
It's how Malaysian youths talk to each other these days. Sometimes I feel that it's OK to talk like this. I rarely do, though, because I might be a bit careless and speak Manglish to tourist! :D

The Slipper Thief

Hi, guys. How's you? :) Don't you hate it when people steal your slippers? Well, I DO. It's happened to me! ME! How can that be??? And worse... It's happened TWICE!!! Yergh...
Bet you're wondering how I found it, right? :) Well, I found it at the EXACT SAME PLACE I left it the day before. Yeah, I also found it there when it was missing for the second time. Sigh... Thieves these days. They just dunno how to hide stuff. D:

On the bright side, someone out there LOVES my slippers~! :D :D :D

Milk and Cheese

I like cheese, but I hate milk. How stoopeed is that? :D But, I really can't help it. Every time I try to drink milk, I'll always think I'm drinking melted cheese. And then I suffocate. D: Have you ever met anybody with weird habits, or personality? Have you met anyone like me? I'd like to know so very much! :D

SkyJuice~ D:

'What?' I asked my friend. He said he had been drinking skyjuice at the dining hall. Still puzzled, I repeated the same question. He stared at me as if he was talking to a plank, and smiled. God, how I hate it when he smiled like that. He then brought me a glass 'full of skyjuice'. I looked at it, thinking what is it gonna taste like? Maybe it tastes like the sky?

What does the SKY taste like?

I took a sip, not acknowledging the mischievous glint in my friend's eyes. Funny, something feels familiar. It tastes like plain water. Oh.

Skyjuice IS plain water. D:

New School, New Life

Hi people, how's you guys? I'm fine here. So, this is my first post from my new school. It's kinda OK here. Independently living in the boarding school. That's cool... I guess. Have to get used to it. Washing your own clothes, waking up at 5 in the morn. That's SO not me. ): I miss my friends... >3< So, I won't be updating as frequently as I was. So, be patient~! :D

K- Freaks In the New School~!

And just as I thought I've finally broken free from the Korean Fan Circle. D: There are KFreaks here too! Yargh! D: D: D:
But I don't mind. Who cares? :) I'm a KFreak too. :D

The Divorce Case: My Pointa View~ :)

OK, this is REALLY gonna be my last post. I had extra time. I didn't know that. XD

---> Remember, this is from my pointa view, so don't get offended. If I am wrong in any way, please do forgive me, and do tell me, as I will change it soonest. :) <---

So, I'm gonna be talking 'bout this lil divorce case going 'round the Malaysian newspapers. It's 'bout a Chinese couple (Or ex-couple.) who is currently fighting for the custody of the daughter.

So, I have read their point of view on today's newspaper. Personally, I think that the dad, Low, should have the custody of his daughter, Bi- Anne. Because:

1) He has taken care of Bi-Anne for 'bout 'ten years', as said by Bi-Anne.

2) Bi-Anne wants to be with his father.

3) I don't think it's reasonable to leave your daughter for eight years just to be in London to pursue your career. So why should she, Tan, do that?

But, one thing I am sure of is that: THEY ARE BOTH AT FAULT. You have a kid, and you wanna divorce? That is not good. D:

Last Post For the Time Being...

Hey people, this is gonna be my last post for a period of time. Going off to boarding school tomorrow. Yeah... So, don't expect me to update for a long, LONG while. Unless something happens and I am allowed access to the computers there. :) Which, since it's a boarding school, with AIR CONDITIONING~ (You can't find that at most schools here! XD), there will be... I hope. And I think I have to find myself a partner. For the blog, of course. :)

Sick in Bed...

Hi people, just gonna say that I'm sick in bed. ): Vomited all night long. D: D: D: So I ain't gonna post what I did yesterday, today. I'll do it tomorrow.
Right now drinking 100 Plus. It's good for my condition, says the doc. Still can't believe it, but who cares? I get to drink fizzy drinks on doctor's permission! :D

On the First Day of CNY: The Advantages and DISadvantages~! :):

I hope you people, celebrating Chinese New Year are having fun out there, wherever you guys may be, Malaysia or other parts of the world~! :) Even though I am not a Chinese, there are advantages of the festive season for me, and others. :D Like:

1) Your nearest amusement park (For me, that'll be Sunway Lagoon.) will be less crowded. More fun for us~! :D

2) Your place will be more lively. Mine sure is~ :)

3) More chances to get money. XD

But with advantages, there are DISadvantages to come along. I've learnt one thing after today, and that is to never, EVER go shopping at Sunway Pyramid on the first day of CNY. ): Half the shopping mall's closed. Sigh... What am I gonna do 'bout it? D:

And what I've learnt at Sunway Lagoon:

1) Tourists are nice people. :)

2) Scream Park is nice~! And screamy~ :D

3) I need more time to visit all the parks. D:

4) Bring camera next time. D: D: D:

Oh well, that's it for today~! Get on with your life, people! Enjoy your hols, while you still can! Don't regret it, and go,'Oh, why the ___________ (Fill in the blank with your fave word.) did I waste my holiday!?'

After the Trip~ :D Plus the Pics!

Hi there~, how was your day? So, where did I leave yesterday? :)

Oh, yeah, the sushi shop. :D Well, pretty much nothing happened after that. We went back home right after eating. (Sad... I wanted to go 'round. D:) The best part was when we got together all our money and had our heads dizzy by trying to figure
out how much change each of us needed.
Eh, don't think we're dumb. We all aced our Maths! It's just that I got confused when they explained the problem to me! XD

Then, we just walked 'round the neighborhood for an hour or so, before stopping at the playground with a special guest appearance! :D

In case you dunno, this is the special guest: Kennard~! :D

We all played 'round and took pictures with my camera, and gossip, gossip, gossip! :D Well, it was just a casual chat, but to me, this is the closest I got to my class's 'Gossip Centre'! :) It's been a long time... I miss 2010. Wait, let me have a moment
please... *Wipes tears off face* ;'( But life goes on, whether you're prepared or not.

And so that's the end of my excitingly weird trip. With guys. XP ;D Happy Chinese New Year people~! :D :D :D
- Images~ -
(Might not be much, but it contains MEMORIES. Handle with care. :))

My two friends, from left: MJ and Chock!
Daniel~! :D
Mochi, mochi, mochi~ :3 Yummy yum yum! :D
Casual chat. ;)

Lastly, to all the Beliebers out there. This is gonna happen if he touches Malaysian ground. I'm sorry if you think I'm joking.
As you can see, his face is wrecked, and neck half ripped. :D I don't think this'll happen to him. Just black eyes and bruises. :)

A Boys' Day Out~! :)

Hello people, and a Happy Chinese New Year to you people. Yesh, it's too early, but who cares!? :D
I had a very fun day today. Very... Uh... Different. It's a boys' day out! It seems that Girls' Night Out sounds nicer though. XD

Today, me and my three guy friends (Ugh... It gives me chills to say that.) went to Sunway Pyramid to watch the Green Hornet, in 3D! :D :D :D It was very nice, 'specially Kato~! The Green Hornet is more of a comedy relief to me. But who cares? Everyone has a purpose. :) Oerall, I'd give it an 8/10! No full marks, 'cause I don't wanna be too generous~ But this is from my pointa view, so I don't care whether you like it or not. What matters is, DON'T BLAME ME IF YOU WATCH IT AFTER THIS AND DIDN'T FEEL THE SAME. :D :D :D

Afterwards, we went to a sushi place! It's called Sakae Sushi~ That was the best place I've been yet~ :D I've never, EVER been to a sushi place where there's mini conveyer belts everywhere~! :D

I will continue tomorrow. I feel too tired to write the rest of the parts. :D And besides, we need a lil suspense to spice our life. :) You with me, people~? Good! So, watch this space for me, and I bid you, G'Nite! :)

----------> This space here. Thanks~! :D <----------
Unexpected bump-into moment with Joshua... In the arcade. :)

The Surprise Farewell Party~! :'D

Today was the most touching day of my happy lil life. My classmates had a farewell party for me and six other friends of ours! In case you didn't know, we are going off to other schools. It's pretty sad, getting separated at such an early time of the school year... )': Love them all, I do! So caring, thinking of us. :D To my friends out there, if you're reading this, I just wanna say I love you all, and that I'm gonna miss you all~! Don't forget me!!! :D :D :D

Changes

The world is changing, people.

There were times when kids respect their elders, and when crimes were low. But now, it ain't easy to walk the streets on your own without having fears of being snatched by people. Where has all the courtesy and kindness gone? They couldn't have just ran away from us just like that! Cruelness and anger has now replaced those valuable traits that we had.

Those times where parents were too strict on their kids are long gone, even though there are still some who use that way of teaching their children to be 'perfect'. Now, we have to care for them and instill good values in them. If you limit them too much, they'll grow up to be a dull, stressful person.

Don't expect youngsters to be evil and vulgar just because they use inappropriate words. These words express themselves, it doesn't really mean anything to them. And if you don't like it, you just see it this way: Those words are not directed at you. :D

Changes aren't easy, guys. And they're not all bad. :) Technology is improving. So has our lives. We could go to faraway places, past the stars, where the older generations could not grasp in their hands. We should appreciate it. We just need to improve OURSELVES. Just let yourself be free. Let go of the past, and look forward for the future. :)

That's all from me now. I'll see you later. :) :) :D

Me and My Life Right Now

Hi, readers! :) Sorry I didn't update the blog for quite a while. I've been busy with stuff. School life, personal life. :) The usual~ School has started for the kids in Malaysia already, and you know what? I'm still feeling too sleepy to get up.

You should be, when you have to get to school at half past 7. D:
Well, it has been two weeks since school had started, and they (the school) have already started making us hate our lives by having a marathon, which is on the 22nd!!! D: D: D: It sucks.

Speaking of the marathon, I got betrayed by my friend during the practice, who asked me to wait for her. I waited, and walked slowly (With my friends. So kind of them! :D) just for her sake, even though I had tuition in 30 minutes. Halfway throughout the track, I finally found out she WASN'T EVEN HERE! SHE WAS AT THE TUITION CENTER ALREADY! That sucks, right? I bet some people has that kinda experience. :D
Well, I just couldn't get mad at her. The anger pretty much got lost during the weekend. She's so adorable when she asked for my forgiveness (She looks adorable ALL THE TIME! :D), I can't get mad at her! XD
Oh well, that's it from me. Gotta get some beauty sleep for tomorrow! :D

2011 Arrived~!

Hi, and a happy 2nd January to you people! :) Ah, how time flies so fast~ I don't think a month and a half is enough for us teens! D: It seems so short. We keep our memories of the past year, and march on forward to the wonders of 2011. Don't ever linger in the past! It ain't good for your health. :)
Why not relax and think 'bout this: What's your fave memory of the past year? It can be more than one.
Ooh, and I got a special prezzy from my mate. I couldn't believe she'd buy it for me! I LOVE IT! Conan~ First thing to start off my toy collection! Thank you! Best prezzy EVER! :D

Oh well, I'm gonna have to prepare for school, which starts tomorrow. Face the wrath of the HISTORY TEACHER!
